Welkom bij Rehearse, een dienst die je wordt aangeboden door Rehearsal B.V. (“Rehearse”, “wij”, “onze”, “ons”).

Jouw privacy is belangrijk voor ons. In dit privacybeleid wordt uitgelegd hoe wij jouw gegevens verzamelen, opslaan, gebruiken en bekendmaken wanneer je gebruik maakt van app.rehearse.nl en rehearse.nl (samen aangeduid als de “Website”), onze mobiele en desktop-apps (de ‘Apps’) en alle aanverwante sites, spelers, widgets, hulpmiddelen, apps, data, software, API’s en andere diensten die door Rehearse worden aangeboden (de “Diensten”). Dit Privacybeleid geeft onder meer een toelichting op de volgende onderwerpen:

•Onze uitgangspunten met betrekking tot jouw gegevens en je privacy

•De informatie die wij over jou verzamelen

•Hoe wij jouw gegevens gebruiken

•Hoe wij jouw gegevens delen

•Hoe wij gebruik maken van cookies en soortgelijke technologie

•Jouw keuzes met betrekking tot je gegevens

•Hoe je contact met ons kunt opnemen over privacykwesties

Door gebruik te maken van de Website, de Apps of een van de Diensten, en in het bijzonder door het aanmaken van een Rehearse-account, stem je ermee in dat jouw gegevens worden gebruikt op de wijze zoals uiteengezet in dit Privacybeleid.

Voor jouw gemak hebben we de informatie over ons gebruik van cookies en soortgelijke technologieën opgenomen in een afzonderlijk document (het Cookiebeleid). Het Cookiebeleid maakt deel uit van het Privacybeleid, en wanneer wordt verwezen naar het Privacybeleid, omvat deze verwijzing tevens het Cookiebeleid.

Neem even de tijd om dit Privacybeleid (waaronder het Cookiebeleid) door te lezen, en ga na of je akkoord bent met de wijze waarop wij jouw gegevens gebruiken en bekend maken.

Als je niet akkoord gaat met de bepalingen van dit Privacybeleid, moet je geen gebruik maken van de Website, Apps of Diensten. Mocht je nog vragen of opmerkingen hebben, dan kun je contact met ons opnemen via info@rehearse.nl.

Let wel: dit Privacybeleid is alleen van toepassing op de Website, de Apps en de Diensten (samen aangeduid als het “Platform”). Wanneer je het Platform gebruikt, kun je links tegenkomen naar andere websites, apps en diensten, of toepassingen die je in staat stellen informatie te delen met andere websites, apps en diensten. Rehearse is niet verantwoordelijk voor de privacypraktijken van deze andere websites, apps en diensten en wij raden je daarom aan het privacybeleid van deze websites, apps of diensten door te nemen voordat je jouw Rehearse-account hieraan koppelt of persoonsgegevens deelt.

Onze uitgangspunten

We hanteren een aantal eenvoudige uitgangspunten ten aanzien van gegevensbescherming en privacy, die als volgt kunnen worden samengevat:

Je moet precies weten wat wij met jouw gegevens doen

Dit Privacybeleid is bedoeld om je volledige openheid van zaken te geven over hoe wij gegevens beschermen. Als je naar aanleiding van dit Privacybeleid nog vragen hebt, kun je een e-mail sturen naar info@rehearse.nl.

Je moet de volledige controle hebben over jouw gegevens

We hebben de website zodanig ontworpen dat je controle hebt over de gegevens die je openbaar maakt en deelt met behulp van Rehearse en andere sites en diensten waar je jouw Rehearse-account aan koppelt. Benut deze functionaliteiten ten volle en zorg ervoor dat je alleen deelt wat je wilt delen.

Gegevens die wij over jou verzamelen

Wij verzamelen uit verschillende bronnen gegevens over jou:

Door jou verstrekte informatie

Om de Website te bezoeken, hoef je ons geen persoonsgegevens te verstrekken. Bepaalde Diensten vereisen echter dat je je aanmeldt voor een Rehearse-account. Als je je aanmeldt, verstrek je bepaalde gegevens aan ons:

•Essentiële informatie: Als je je voor een van de Rehearse-accounts aanmeldt, moet je jouw naam en e-mailadres opgeven. Als je daarnaast een licentie of abonnement koopt, moet je ook jouw echte naam, factuuradres en gegevens voor betalingsverificatie verstrekken.

•Informatie uit correspondentie: Als je contact met ons opneemt via e-mail, webformulieren op de Website gebruikt, of contact met ons opneemt via de post, per fax of andere offline-kanalen, verstrek je bepaalde persoonsgegevens aan ons.

•Enquêtegegevens: Als je deelneemt aan een enquête, verstrek je bepaalde persoonsgegevens als onderdeel van jouw respons, tenzij je anoniem reageert.

•Gegevens die je op de Website plaatst: Je verstrekt mogelijk persoonsgegevens als je geluidsbestanden uploadt naar het Platform, of als je opmerkingen plaatst, of bijdraagt aan groepsdiscussies.

Gegevens die wij automatisch verzamelen

Bepaalde gegevens verzamelen wij automatisch zodra je het Platform gebruikt, of door ons gebruik van webanalysediensten zoals beschreven in ons Cookiebeleid. Deze gegevens omvatten, maar zijn niet beperkt tot:

•het Internet Protocol (IP)-adres van het apparaat waarmee je toegang krijgt tot het Platform (deze gegevens kunnen soms worden gebruikt om het land of de stad te achterhalen van waaruit je toegang tot het Platform krijgt)

•de site die je hebt bezocht direct voorafgaand aan jouw bezoek aan de Website

•de specifieke activiteiten die je op het Platform verricht, waaronder de pagina’s die je bezoekt, streaming, het offline beluisteren of downloaden van tracks, het uploaden of opnemen van tracks, het delen van een geluidsbestand met een andere gebruiker, het toetreden tot of verlaten van een groep, het plaatsen van een reactie, of het geven van een zoekopdracht

•zoektermen die je invoert op de website

•de tijd, frequentie en duur van jouw bezoeken aan het Platform

•jouw browsertype en besturingssysteem

•het soort apparaat waarmee je toegang hebt tot het Platform, bijvoorbeeld een pc of een mobiel apparaat, en de identificatiegegevens van het apparaat.

•informatie verzameld via cookies en soortgelijke technologie, zoals beschreven in ons Cookiebeleid

•informatie met betrekking tot jouw interactie met e-mailberichten, bijvoorbeeld of je e-mailberichten hebt geopend, aangeklikt, of doorgestuurd

Hoe wij jouw gegevens gebruiken

Wij gebruiken de informatie die wij over jou verzamelen voor de volgende doeleinden:

Het gebruik van en de interactie met het Platform:

•Om jouw Rehearse-account te beheren en te onderhouden, en je toegang tot de website te verlenen en gebruik te laten maken van de Apps en Diensten waar je van tijd tot tijd om verzoekt. Jouw e-mailadres en wachtwoord worden gebruikt om je te herkennen wanneer je je aanmeldt bij het Platform. De identificatiegegevens van jouw apparaten worden gebruikt om te waarborgen dat de apparaten die toegang hebben tot jouw Abonnement onder jouw beheer zijn.

•Om je te herkennen als maker van de geluidsbestanden die je uploadt, de opmerkingen die je plaatst en/of de andere bijdragen die je levert aan het Platform.

•Om je te verzoeken deel te nemen aan enquêtes, de enquêtes af te nemen en de resultaten van de enquêtes te analyseren als je besluit deel te nemen.

•Om je technische ondersteuning te geven.

•Om te reageren op een opmerking of vraag die je hebt ingezonden.

•Om activiteiten te voorkomen of actie te ondernemen tegen de activiteiten die (mogelijk) in strijd zijn met onze Gebruiksvoorwaarden, of de toepasselijke wetgeving.

•Als je een licentie of abonnement aanschaft, worden jouw naam, adres en betalingsverificatiegegevens gebruikt om jouw account of abonnement en -verlengingen te verwerken en om jouw betalingen te innen.

•Jouw e-mailadres wordt gebruikt om je service-updates en meldingen over jouw account te sturen, en eventueel nieuwsbrieven, marketingberichten en bepaalde e-mailberichten. Afmelden voor nieuwsbrieven, marketingberichten en e-mailberichten kan ten alle tijden door middel van een bericht naar info@rehearse.nl.

Het verbeteren en aanpassen van het Platform en advertenties aan de gebruiker:

•Om het gebruik van het Platform en de mensen die de Website bezoeken en van de Apps en Diensten gebruik maken te analyseren, met als doel Rehearse te verbeteren en de site aan te passen aan jouw behoeften en interesses.

•Om je interessante Rehearse advertenties te laten zien als je websites van derden bezoekt. Als je onze advertenties ziet op websites of apps van derden, kunnen wij, of diensten van derden die wij hiervoor inschakelen, gegevens verzamelen die jouw browser of mobiele app beschikbaar maken bij het zien van de advertentie (bv. IP-adressen, verwijzings-URL’s, browser-gegevens, tijdsvermelding van aanvraag). De websites of apps van derden kunnen ons ook toestaan het succes van onze advertenties op hun websites te meten, bv. of een klik heeft geleid tot een daadwerkelijke aankoop van een licentie of abonnement. Raadpleeg het privacybeleid van dergelijke derdenwebsites om te zien welke gegevens mogen worden verzameld en hoe je je daarvoor kunt afmelden (opt out).

•Om jou advertenties te laten zien ten behoeve van adverteerders, maken wij gebruik van informatie die je aan ons beschikbaar stelt zodra je van het Platform gebruik maakt, waaronder locatiegegevens, samen met informatie die je aan ons verstrekt via het Platform, bv. demografische gegevens en informatie die je rechtstreeks of via diensten van derden vrijwillig aan ons beschikbaar stelt (zoals jouw leeftijd of geslacht); en informatie die jouw browser ons stuurt als je gebruik maakt van het Platform (bv. doorlink-URL’s, het type apparaat of locatiegegevens). Hierdoor kunnen wij jou advertenties laten zien die relevanter en interessanter voor je zijn. Wij delen geen persoonsgegevens met adverteerders. In plaats daarvan definiëren adverteerders voor een specifieke advertentiecampagne vooraf een specifieke doelgroep aan de hand van bepaalde algemene criteria (bv. de woonplaats, de leeftijdsgroep of het aantal groepsleden). Als jouw profiel overeenkomt met deze algemene criteria, kunnen wij ervoor kiezen om je een passende advertentie te tonen. Wij kunnen je ook advertenties tonen op basis van de content die je onlangs hebt bekeken of gezocht. Voordat wij gebruik mogen maken van locatiegegevens van de app, vraagt jouw mobiele apparaat over het algemeen eerst om jouw toestemming. Als je daartoe toestemming hebt gegeven, verzamelen locatiediensten in jouw apparaat gedurende enkele seconden locatiegegevens. Deze worden vervolgens met ons of de desbetreffende dienstverlener gedeeld. Als wij diensten van derden betrekken, zoals advertentienetwerken die ons in staat stellen om je advertenties te laten zien die zijn gebaseerd op jouw interesses, kunnen wij hen ook toestaan om bepaalde informatie over jou te verzamelen, zoals cookie-gegevens. Deze informatie stelt deze derden in staat om je gerichte advertenties te tonen die volgens hen het interessantst zijn voor jou. Als je derdenwebsites toestaat gegevens te verzamelen en te delen zodra je gebruik maakt van hun platform, kunnen advertentienetwerken deze informatie gebruiken in combinatie met de informatie die wij hen toestaan te verzamelen op het Platform. Raadpleeg het privacybeleid van dergelijke derdenwebsites om te zien welke gegevens mogen worden verzameld en hoe je je daarvoor kunt afmelden.

•Om het Platform en/of de inhoud van e-mail nieuwsbrieven of ander materiaal dat wij je van tijd tot tijd sturen, aan te passen aan jouw behoeften en interesses.

Voor andere doeleinden, op voorwaarde dat wij dit tijdig aan je bekendmaken, en op voorwaarde dat je akkoord gaat met het voorgestelde gebruik van jouw persoonsgegevens.

Het delen van jouw gegevens

Wij zullen jouw gegevens niet delen met derden, behalve zoals beschreven in dit Privacybeleid (waaronder ons Cookiebeleid). Er zijn omstandigheden waarin wij mogelijk een deel van de informatie die wij over jou verzamelen of die je aan ons verstrekt, moeten delen. Dit zullen wij doen op basis van de doeleinden zoals hierboven uiteengezet.

Dit geldt voor de volgende omstandigheden:

•Andere gebruikers: Gebruikers kunnen jouw toegankelijke geluidsbestanden beluisteren. Als je luistert naar geluidsbestanden die door een gebruiker zijn geüpload, kan het feit dat je naar die geluidsbestanden hebt geluisterd, worden gedeeld met die gebruiker, zodat deze de populariteit van zijn geluidsbestanden kan volgen.

•Jouw toestemming is vereist: Wij maken jouw gegevens bekend, mits je er expliciet mee hebt ingestemd dat wij dat mogen doen. Op het moment dat wij jouw gegevens verzamelen, maken wij je daarop attent.

•Dienstverleners: Wij maken gebruik van bepaalde gerenommeerde derden, van wie sommigen zich buiten de Europese Economische Ruimte kunnen bevinden, in verband met bepaalde gespecialiseerde diensten met betrekking tot het Platform. Deze derden hebben toegang tot bepaalde gegevens over jou, maar alleen indien deze derden die gegevens nodig hebben om hun diensten aan ons te leveren. Wanneer wij persoonsgegevens doorgeven aan deze derden, verlangen en eisen wij van deze derden dat zij passende organisatorische en technische beveiligingsmaatregelen nemen om persoonsgegevens te beveiligen tegen ongeoorloofde verspreiding, en de persoonsgegevens alleen te verwerken in overeenstemming met onze instructies en voor zover dit noodzakelijk is om hun diensten aan ons te verlenen.

•Adverteerders kunnen gebruik maken van diensten van derden om te zorgen dat hun advertenties op de juiste manier worden aangeboden en om het effect te meten van hun campagnes op websites en apps. Wij staan deze diensten toe informatie te verzamelen en te gebruiken voor dergelijke doeleinden.

•Als geaggregeerde gegevens: Wij mogen jouw persoonsgegevens samenvoegen met soortgelijke gegevens die betrekking hebben op andere gebruikers van het Platform om statistische informatie te genereren over het Platform en het gebruik ervan, die wij vervolgens kunnen delen met derden of openbaar kunnen maken. Deze informatie zal echter geen e-mailadressen of andere contactgegevens bevatten, of iets dat online of offline kan worden gebruikt om jou persoonlijk te identificeren.

•Indien wettelijk vereist: Wij zullen jouw gegevens verstrekken indien wij in goed vertrouwen menen dat wij wettelijk verplicht zijn of toestemming hebben dit te doen, bijvoorbeeld naar aanleiding van een gerechtelijk bevel, een dagvaarding of ander wettelijk verzoek.

•Om onze belangen te beschermen: Wij mogen jouw gegevens verstrekken indien wij van mening zijn dat dit nodig is om onze wettelijke rechten en belangen of die van onze gebruikers, werknemers, bestuurders of aandeelhouders te beschermen of te verdedigen, en/of om de veiligheid en bescherming van het Platform en/of de gebruikers te waarborgen.

•In het kader van een bedrijfsoverdracht: Wij mogen jouw gegevens overdragen aan personen of bedrijven die alle of nagenoeg alle activa of bedrijfsactiviteiten van Rehearse verkrijgen, of bij een fusie van ons bedrijf, of in geval ons bedrijf failliet gaat.

Cookies en vergelijkbare technologie

Net als de meeste andere websites maken wij gebruik van cookies en andere standaard internettechnologieën om onze Website en de Apps en Diensten die wij leveren te verbeteren. Wij hebben informatie over ons gebruik van cookies en soortgelijke technologie opgenomen in een afzonderlijk document (het Cookiebeleid) dat deel uitmaakt van dit Privacybeleid. Dit Cookiebeleid bevat tevens informatie over hoe je cookies van derden (die wij alleen gebruiken voor het analyseren van het gebruik van ons Platform en het optimaliseren van de inhoud op ons Platform) kunt blokkeren of uitschakelen, en hoe je je kunt afmelden voor andere technologieën zoals het melden van bugs binnen onze mobiele apps.

In sommige gevallen zijn de advertenties die worden getoond afkomstig van derden. Indien je dit hebt toegestaan, mogen derden informatie over jouw bezoek en interactie met het Platform gebruiken om je gepersonaliseerde advertenties van producten en diensten te tonen die mogelijk interessant zijn voor jou. Persoonsgegevens zoals jouw naam of e-mailadres worden niet met deze derden gedeeld.

Wij hebben ons best gedaan om je zoveel mogelijk informatie te geven over ons gebruik van cookies en soortgelijke technologie. Als je ervoor kiest om het Platform te gebruiken en toestemming te geven voor het plaatsen van cookies en zonder de functionele cookies cookies te blokkeren of uit te schakelen of aan te geven dat je geen gebruik wilt maken van andere technologieën zoals beschreven in ons Cookiebeleid, geef je ons toestemming om van deze technologieën gebruik te maken, alsmede van alle persoonsgegevens die wij, overeenkomstig dit Privacybeleid en ons Cookiebeleid, met behulp van deze technologieën verzamelen.

Keuze en Beheer

Wij doen ons best om je zo veel mogelijk keus te geven wat betreft de hoeveelheid informatie die je aan ons verstrekt, en de zeggenschap die je hebt over deze informatie. Je hoeft bij ons slechts een minimale hoeveelheid persoonsgegevens te verstrekken om onze diensten te kunnen gebruiken, hoewel bepaalde gegevens automatisch worden verzameld zodra je onze website bezoekt (zoals hierboven beschreven). Als je echter besluit om een Rehearse-account aan te maken, kun je jouw gegevens op de volgende manieren beheren.

E-mail- en meldingsvoorkeuren

Je kunt bij ons ten alle tijden aangeven:

•welke e-mailmeldingen (indien van toepassing) je van ons wenst te ontvangen; en

•welke Activiteitenmeldingen (indien van toepassing) je van ons wenst te ontvangen.

Je kunt je ook afmelden voor alle e-mailmeldingen, uitgezonderd belangrijke accountmeldingen zoals belangrijke service-updates, meldingen van auteursrechtschendingen en andere essentiële informatie met betrekking tot jouw account en jouw gebruik van het Platform. Stuur hiervoor een email naar  info@rehearse.nl.

Het is ook mogelijk om je op elk gewenst moment af te melden voor e-mail nieuwsbrieven en meldingen (uitgezonderd essentiële accountmeldingen). Dit kun je doen door te klikken op de link onderaan in de e-mail.

Het aanpassen van het Platform aan de gebruiker en gepersonaliseerde advertenties

Wij kunnen ook gebruik maken van diensten van derden die met behulp van cookies of soortgelijke technologieën namens ons gepersonaliseerde advertenties aan jou tonen. Zie ons Cookiebeleid voor informatie over hoe je je hiervoor kunt afmelden.

Houd er rekening mee dat ook al heb je je afgemeld voor advertenties op basis van interesses, je nog steeds advertenties te zien krijgt. Deze advertenties zullen je waarschijnlijk minder aanspreken.

Cookies

Ons Cookiebeleid bevat informatie over hoe je cookies kunt blokkeren of uitschakelen. Ga voor meer informatie naar http://aboutcookies.org.

App-voorkeuren

Je kunt de instellingen in jouw iOS-apparaat of in de Android-app gebruiken om je af te melden voor analyses van jouw webactiviteiten en het melden van bugs. Als je bij het afmelden gebruik maakt van onze iOS-app, ga je naar de instellingen van jouw iOS-apparaat en open je het tabblad Rehearse. Als je een Android-apparaat hebt, moet je de Rehearse-app openen en daarbinnen het tabblad basisinstellingen openen. Daar kun je analytics en/of bug-rapportage eenvoudigweg uitschakelen, zodat er geen analysegegevens of bug-rapportages meer worden verzonden vanuit de app. Nadere informatie vind je in ons Cookiebeleid.

Jouw account verwijderen

Je kunt jouw account op elk gewenst moment verwijderen. Dit doe je door een email te sturen naar info@rehearse.nl. Houd er rekening mee dat als je jouw account verwijdert, alle gegevens die gekoppeld zijn aan jouw account, waaronder de geluidsbestanden die je hebt geüpload en de aan deze geluidsbestanden gerelateerde gebruiksgegevens, ook worden verwijderd en mogelijk niet meer herstelbaar zijn. Voordat je jouw account verwijdert, raden wij je derhalve aan om alle inhoud die je hebt geüpload naar jouw account te kopiëren of er een back-up van te maken.

Nadat we jouw Rehearse-account hebben verwijderd, kan het zijn dat jouw gegevens nog korte tijd opduiken in sommige zoekresultaten op het internet als de zoekmachine webpagina’s heeft opgeslagen in het tijdelijke geheugen (‘cache’). Rehearse heeft geen controle over de opslag van webpagina’s door zoekmachines, en wij kunnen daarom geen verantwoordelijk dragen voor gegevens die opgeslagen worden door zoekmachines nadat deze van het Platform zijn verwijderd.

Houd er rekening mee dat het verwijderen van de Rehearse app, niet betekent dat jouw Rehearse-account wordt verwijderd. Als je jouw account wilt verwijderen, moet je dit doen door een email te versturen naar info@rehearse.nl.

Toegang tot jouw gegevens

Als je toegang wilt hebben tot de persoonsgegevens die wij over jou hebben, of deze wilt wijzigen of verwijderen, of als je bezwaar hebt tegen de verwerking van persoonsgegevens die wij over jou hebben, neem dan contact met ons op via info@rehearse.nl of het onderstaande adres.

Als je ons verzoekt om jouw account te verwijderen, zullen wij dat binnen een redelijke termijn doen, maar het kan zijn dat wij enkele van jouw persoonsgegevens moeten bewaren om aan onze wettelijke verplichtingen te voldoen, of omdat wij een wettelijke reden hebben om dat te doen.

Internationale doorgifte van gegevens

Rehearsal B.V. is gevestigd in Europa, en jouw persoonsgegevens worden verzameld, opgeslagen, gebruikt en gedeeld in overeenstemming met Europese wetgeving. Van tijd tot tijd kan het echter nodig zijn dat wij jouw persoonsgegevens doorgeven aan de Verenigde Staten. Je dient je ervan bewust te zijn dat de privacywetgeving in de Verenigde Staten kan verschillen van de wetgeving in jouw land, en door jouw gebruik van het Platform stem je in met de doorgifte, opslag en verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens in de Verenigde Staten in overeenstemming met dit Privacybeleid en toepasselijk recht.

Wijzigingen en updates van dit Privacybeleid

Dit Privacybeleid kan af en toe worden bijgewerkt, en zodra wij dat doen, herzien wij tevens de hieronder vastgestelde Ingangsdatum. Eventuele wijzigingen in ons Privacybeleid worden altijd weergegeven op onze Website, zodat Rehearse- gebruikers altijd weten welke informatie wij verzamelen en hoe wij deze informatie kunnen gebruiken en delen. Controleer deze pagina op gezette tijden om ervoor te zorgen dat je op de hoogte bent van eventuele wijzigingen in dit Privacybeleid. Geregistreerde gebruikers worden geïnformeerd over substantiële wijzigingen in dit Privacybeleid door middel van een melding aan hun account en/of door het plaatsen van een bericht over de wijziging op de Website.

Wat als je ons geen gegevens wilt verstrekken?

Als je niet wilt dat wij jouw gegevens gebruiken op de manier die in het Privacybeleid (waaronder ons Cookiebeleid) wordt beschreven, stop dan met het gebruik van het Platform. Als je al een account hebt aangemaakt, lees je hier hoe je jouw account kunt beëindigen of opzeggen.

Welcome to Rehearse, a service offered by Rehearsal B.V. (“Rehearse”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how we collect, store, use and disclose your information when you use app.rehearse.nl and rehearse.nl (collectively, the “Website”), our mobile and desktop apps (the ‘Apps ‘) and all related sites, players, widgets, tools, apps, data, software, APIs and other services offered by Rehearse (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains, among other things, the following topics:

You must know exactly what we do with your data

You must have full control over your data

We have designed the website so that you have control over the information you disclose and share using Rehearse and other sites and services to which you link your Rehearse account. Take full advantage of these functionalities and make sure you only share what you want to share.

To visit the Website, you do not need to provide us with any personal data. However, certain Services require you to sign up for a Rehearse

How we use your data

We use the information we collect about you for the following purposes: Using and interacting with the Platform:

• To manage and maintain your Rehearse account, and provide you access to the website and use the Apps and Services you request from time to time. Your email address and password are used to recognise you when you register with the Platform. The identification information of your devices is used to ensure that the devices that access your Subscription are under your control.

• To recognise you as the creator of the sound files you upload, the comments you post and / or the other contributions you make to the Platform.

• To request that you participate in surveys, administer the surveys and analyse the results of the surveys if you decide to participate.

• To give you technical support.
• To respond to a comment or question you have submitted.

• To prevent activities or take action against those activities that are or may be in violation of our Terms of Use, or applicable law.

• If you purchase a license or subscription, your name, address, and payment verification information will be used to process your account or subscription and renewals and to collect your payments.

• Your email address will be used to send you service updates and notifications about your account, and possibly newsletters, marketing communications and certain email messages. You can unsubscribe from newsletters, marketing messages and e-mail messages at any time by

Improving and adapting the Platform and advertisements to the user:

• To analyze the use of the Platform and the people who visit the Website and use the Apps and Services, with the aim of improving Rehearse and adapting the site to your needs and interests.

• To show you interesting Rehearse ads when you visit third party websites. If you see our advertisements on third-party websites or apps, we, or third-party services that we engage for this purpose, may collect information that makes your browser or mobile app available when you see the advertisement (e.g. IP addresses, referral URLs , browser data, time entry of request). Adapting the Platform to the user and personalised advertisements

Keep in mind that even if you’ve opted out of interest-based ads, you will still see ads. These ads are less likely to appeal to you.

App preferences

You can use the settings in your iOS device or in the Android app to opt out of your web activity analysis and bug reporting. If you’re using our iOS app when signing out, go to your iOS device settings and open the Rehearse tab. If you have an Android device, you will need to open the Rehearse app and access the basic settings tab within it. There, you can simply turn off analytics and / or bug reporting, so that analysis data or bug reports are no longer sent from the app. More information can be found in our Cookie Policy.

Delete your account

You can delete your account at any time. You do this by sending an email to info@rehearse.nl. Please note that if you delete your account, all data associated with your account, including the sound files you have uploaded and usage data related to those sound files, will also be deleted and may not be recoverable. Therefore, before deleting your account, we recommend that you copy or back up any content that you

have uploaded to your account.

After we delete your Rehearse account, your data may still show up in some search results on the internet for a short time if the search engine has stored web pages in its temporary memory (“cache”). Rehearse has no control over the storage of web pages by search engines, and therefore we cannot be responsible for data stored by search engines after it has been removed from the Platform.

Please note that deleting the Rehearse app does not delete your Rehearse account. If you want to delete your account, you must do this by sending an email to info@rehearse.nl.

Access your data

If you want to access, change or delete the personal data we have about you, or if you object to the processing of personal data we have about you, please contact us at info@rehearse.nl or the address below.

If you request us to delete your account, we will do so within a reasonable time, but we may need to retain some of your personal information to comply with our legal obligations or because we have a legal reason to do so .

International transfers of data

Rehearsal B.V. is located in Europe, and your personal data is collected, stored, used and shared in accordance with European legislation. From time to time, however, we may need to transfer your personal data to the United States. You should be aware that privacy laws in the United States may differ from the laws in your country, and by using the Platform, you consent to the transfer, storage and processing of your personal data in the United States in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Changes and updates to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, and once we do, we will also revise the Effective Date set below.
